New Business Formation in Business Networks

The seminar will be aimed at discussing the editorial of the latest issue of the IMP Journal - a paper which is considered a manifesto for a new research stream. It suggests that if new business formation is to be understood, research must examine the interdependences of the actors involved in entrepreneurial action in networks and show that new business formation is about the collective enactment of change in the business network.

Implications and relevance of this perspective for other research fields (especially the ones present at IMCA) will be discussed in the seminar.
